I'm afraid I can't help you with your question, but I thought it was against the law to sell red cars in Sweden? Sorry, just kidding!

I picked up an Electric Silver Volvo V70R at the factory in Göteborg back in 2006. The young lady assisting me with the paperwork told me that the Swedish people working in the Volvo Overseas Delivery department couldn't understand why so many of the foreigners coming to pick up their cars had chosen a red car. I tried to explain (because some people like that color!), but I don't think she understood.

Later I learned that flashy colors, whether in cars or in clothing, are not generally accepted style in Sweden. No doubt there are exceptions - e.g., a lady wearing a red dress to a Christmas party.
