i do think M/T RWD is the right spec for this kind of "fun car"...and, as
Alfisti has noted a couple of times, convertible should definitely be in play. maybe a boxster S if you really want a P-car?

i'm definitely biased because i've loved both of my 2-series (228ix and M2C), and a manual, convertible M235/240 just seems perfect in this situation.
