These plates are pretty good on the street. The increase in NVH isn't much, and on a rough stretch of road I measure on, I saw an increase in noise between 2-3dBa. There aren't any obvious thunk/clunking noises created, unless you're spending a lot of effort to really concentrate and listen for it. Otherwise, they aren't salient.
