I am fairly certain this would work for the HiFi system but not 100% sure. I sold my HK speakers to someone who used them with HiFi amp, so I assume the HK amp would work with HiFi speakers. I would perhaps check with your parts department though if you want to be 100% sure.
One other idea, HK speakers are typically available at VERY low prices. You could get this amp and speakers from another seller and have a very nice system for much less than the upgrade from the factory.
