Hi HP Autosport,
I had an E60 M5 and E90 335i before the M235i and felt that both vehicles had better brakes. Given the caliper and disc size setup on the M235i, my guess that it's a pad compound issue. Could you please suggest a pad that would give better initial "bite" on the street as well as less fade for HPDE days?
As a reference, I ran stock pads for HPDE with the M5 and they held up OK for the most part. In the 335i I ran Hawks. In my Evo X, I ran Hawk HT-10s on both the street and track and loved them.
