I haven't heard of people needing to replace the charge pipe on B58s. Mostly because they want something that looks cooler.
I don't think we even have OFH gaskets.. oil pan might leak, same with valve covers and PCV valves could fail.
We have a mechanical belt driven water pump for the engine and electric for the charge air cooler. High Pressure Fuel Pump is on the top and easily accessible.
Vanos and timing chain is on the firewall side and potentially more difficult to get to.
It's a bit more reliable than the N55 but not immune to things going wrong.
