I noticed Boston area (especially Newton) and many towns north of Boston are pretty bad. South/South-West is better.

The funny thing is that state has a law in place that they are not responsible for ANY damage to the car as a result of pothole etc. (On state roads, towns treat it differently). AND very conveniently, if you run a pothole and do a claim, insurance company automatically sends you surchargeable even notice. And then you must pay state $50 bucks and waste all day in court if you want that to go away. Scam on top of scam
I have given up on putting 19".. the amount of potholes I have hit in the past 2 weeks I am surprised my stock 18" are in one piece. Was driving around the Worcester area and holy fu$ have they even tried to repair these roads in the past 5 years?
