I'm going to need a new one this year, too. Bimmerlink says the charge is at least 80% when I drive around, but it's the original battery (2015 - 45k miles). Dealer quoted me $600 last time I was in and I passed. How hard is it to register the battery yourself with Bimmerlink?Any risk of bricking the car?
