Thought I'd add to this in case someone is still looking for ideas.
I'm running a 255/35-18 square setup on Hankook RS4s for track on my 2018 M240i XDrive.
Rims are 9" wide ET40 offset.
This fitment requires a 3mm spacer on the front and 2 degrees of camber in front and back. You can get there with stock adjustments in the back but it requires camber plates in the front.
I'm on KW coilovers this year with this setup but I ran it with stock suspension last year and it worked fine. No rubbing.
