I’m certainly leaning towards a run flat solution. I’ve had a blowout at midnight on Vermont back roads and was able to limp home (and to the dealer’s the next day). Another time was during rush hour traffic (cold and dark) and was glad to be able to limp home...
Happyjack: I’m very interested in how your set up works out... sorry to hear about your fender bender... understand that this is slowing down your implementation :-(
