I blew out 2 RFT sidewalls in less than 6 months so I ended up swapping out to non-RFTs about 3-4 months ago and won't look back. I should've learned from my last E92 335i when it happened twice and I swapped out to non-RFTs on that car. Go non-RFTs and carry a spare tire, scissor jack, and breaker bar for long road trips. We have roadside assistance so might as well make use of it if need be when you're in town.
