The 18x8.5 ET35 will likely be the better choice. The ET38 is for the ARC-8 design only. You may still have to add a bit of negative camber to fit the ET35 wheel/235 tire but you will not have to use a front spacer. Either wheel can work, but the ET35 would probably be simpler to fit.

Any reason you recommend the ET35 and negative camber over spacer? Adding neg camber and getting an alignment sounds like more of pain. Does the spacer harm the suspension performance, even a thin one like a 5mm?
