If you don't want to spend 300USD I can help you woth installing it via USB drive. It costs 150 USD and takes about 3-5 minutes. All you need is iDrive 5 (every M240i pre-lci has that) and pro-nav with connected drive

Edit: Works even in non supported states (I'm using it in my M240i here in the Czech republic where the CarPlay cannot be officialy added. No warranty issues at all - have been to my dealer twice already).
