Specifically, anyone that test drives the car after an oil change. (or a manager over this dept)
What are the guidelines to "testing" the car after an oil change? I know the car is driven for a short distance to make sure no warning codes, etc.. is there a checklist of what BMW dealerships do and/or are looking for during this check?
for example:
press the brake and the gas at the time time
floor it from a stop multiple times
test traction control works
brake hard
test speakers work
Can anyone speak towards whats supposed to be happening or the expected process after an oil change and before giving back to the owner?
Edit/
Well i have not had time to start a dedicated thread about this so here is a longer clip with the dealership info in case anyone is interested.
lesson learned - skip the free wash and dont let the car out of sight.
