Mine is actually worse the longer I drive it. Shifting quickly from 1-2 anywhere above 5k rpms requires a good 2 second delay on shifting to not grind. A higher rpm 2-1 shift even rev matched will usually grind as well.
Why would one do a high rpm downshift from 2-1?? Most cars will lock you out of first while moving a certain speed for a reason.
