I was spoiled by the fact the previous owner of my 228i installed M performance exhaust, so I can’t speak to the process of installation or weighing against a different option, however, the thing sounds wonderful.
I am looking into deactivating the active sound feature now because it’s really not necessary and is also just a ridiculous feature to begin with, IMO. — I agree with others here that it definitely doesn’t make much difference in performance to go dual, just visual and audio cosmetic appeal, mostly.. — that said, I wouldn’t want any other setup on this car.
