Lived in 1360sqft condo, 2 people and it was enough. Not sure i would want less. Now have kid and moved to 2500 sqft house and its a night and day difference for our kid.
If same area I would pick a house, if condo is close to city, night life etc, I would pick condo without kids. Also nice to plan ahead for kids unless you shootin blanks
no kids is fun in 20s and maybe 30s, than in 40s-50s it might be too late for 1st kid and I can't image a life without children
