I'm patiently waiting to hear about the M2 and possibly owning my 1st true M car, but there has not been any confirmed information on one. So a M235i may be my next car.

I believe that is what is planned. Internet release July and "public" release in september, then production late 2013 and deliveries late 2013/mostly 2014
