to be fair, a DP is good for 15whp, and a Dinan sport or jb+, is good for 20whp or 2mph trap or .2 on the qtr mi time on top of a flash tune. This is all proven.

There is no way that m2 on a dinan stage 1 is 400whp when as you see in the video a stage 4 with exhaust is only 380.
That graph also shows a horrible tq curve. there is nothing up top.

I would agree. I've research the crap out of dyno plots (all the various dyno machines) for stock and modded M235s, M240s, 335s (MPPK N55), and M2s. My findings match what's said above. I'm seriously considering Dinan Stage 2 and from what I've seen, that's consistently in the 350whp-ish range with a DP, around 370-380whp.

Everything I've read points to the M2 essentially being a "Stage 1" MPPK equipped N55 with some additional engine mods to make for more reliable track work. 330whp/360wtq on the Dynojet is pretty consistent with the M2s. So, figure about 20-25whp and 30-35wtq over a stock M235.

What is interesting to me are the 6MT M2 mag times vs the 6MT M235 times. The 6MT M235 seems to post consistent 13.4@107mph. However, the M2 6MTs have shown as strong as 12.7@111mph (same publication and a comparison test between the two cars). It's hard for me to see how 25whp/35wtq is resulting in a whopping 4mph in the 1/4 mile. Perhaps the M2's overboost function is coming into play and we're not seeing it on the dynos.
