Also installed a Quaife, M240i.
It totally changed the way the car behaves, for the better.
I do have some complaints, not about the diff itself, but their installation method. Their seller, Birds in the UK use second hand exchange diff housings, so be very careful to look it over before installation..
I my case there is almost imperceptible oil seepage from the right hand drive seal, caused, I assume, by the fact that the seal seat was rusty. The installers did replace the seal, but it's still leaking. I was a stupid enough to accept the diff housing, even though I saw rust on the axel entry points. I did not feel qualified to have an opinion about it at the time, but I feel pretty bummed that the brand new housing I traded in got replaced by something which is rusting away at a much faster rate that the rest of the car. I just do the best I can to keep it under control, and focus on the car performance.
