Good idea waiting for the oil to come up to temp before leaning on the car, especially if you intend on keeping it.
FWIW, my Cincinnati dealer puts in 0W-20 year-round. OT, but TC Kline Racing told me that oil is good to use at the track. That advice came as a surprise; my frames of reference for track driving were the S50B32 and the S38B35, and each of those required much higher viscosity oils. For example, the S50 ran 15W-50 Red Line Race oil.
