There is no problem using a pressure washer, provided you have the correct nozzle on there that spreads out the spray enough, and as long as you aren't inches away from the car. I find that using mine makes it so much easier to rinse and get the initial bugs and dirt off before attempting to hand wash and spread all that junk around. You can even add detergent to most of the pressure washers now, solely for the use on cars.
