I purchased the car with 15.5k miles in June and the free maint does not transfer.

It was not a deal breaker for me because I enjoy doing this stuff. My prior BMW was an 07' 335i and I did everything from WP/Thermostat R&R to Valve Blasting to Injector replacements & all fluids & brakes / rotors & much more.

All of which is done much earlier than BMW standard maintenance.
