But probably the one pattern I wouldn't go for pn an interior trim is CF, given the other choices available. For me the pattern is too regular not to notice the difference against the real thing. My favourite is the granite rock coating on a set of wheels - take a look at the wheel colorizer at

Conversely, I thought the CF film on the wheels looked good - from a distance it has a nice texture, but doesn't look like it's trying to be something it isn't.

I went so far as to get a quote for my winter alloys: the price was reasonable. However, I was more attracted to coating the interior trim in something distinctive but never got 'round to it. I imagine that there are similar outfits in your region: might be worth doing a Google search for 'hydrographics dipping' just to see, if you're interested.
