Been in Northwest for a while so decided to take my BMW to OR Cost for a day and half trip.
I have driven on HW101 from Astoria, OR to Florence before but this time it was with my M235i
Destination: Rockaway Beach, OR (Pretty dead after summer - but i loved it! less crowded)
On my way down there, I took I5 to HW101 from Astoria to Rockaway Beach - beautiful scenic drive. Took every possible opportunity to stop and take pics along the way
Coming from MidWest, I could not wait to drive on some of the mountain passes and all those crazy twisting and turning roads , like in Europe, and my prayer was answered on my way back!! I decided to hop on to HW53 from Wheeler, OR, OMG there it was - all those crazy roads I was waiting for!! What a great drive from there to HW26 to HW103 then I5. I can not do a fare comparison between this and the roads I have driven during my ED but this was special in its own way.
