Probably be fine if you're in places with a much milder winter like Austin or Houston. Anything north you may experience some periods of inconvenience during the winter.
The key is to not have them in sub 40 degree temps for extended periods. So not much of an issue if it warms up during the day.
Be aware that when the tires are cold that you will lose some braking performance.
