0w 40 had a higher ambient temperature range than 5w30, I would prob. not run the 0w 40 in winter in Canada, but I live in FL so no problem 0w 40 is a better choice for the turbos,

I think 0w-40 is more suitable for our turbo cars. Especially when you wot alot, you will see very high engine oil temp, 0W-40 will give you more protection on wot. You may see marginal fuel economy drop over 5w 30.
