they both will work depending on if you have a Manual transmission or an auto trans. the MTL 75w80 is for a manual trans and has additives to protect the brass syncros while the DCTF is used in Automatic transmissions. If you are looking to change the diff fluid u can use redline 75w80 it safe for the spider gears/ LSD but is to slick to use in the MT and dose not have additives to protect the brass. A simple search of redlines product site when entering in your car info will provide all recommended fluids that redline makes |
That's what didn't make sense. Redline's site recommended the dctf for my manual transmission.
