Depends on the settings of other switches.
1&2 on together drops overall amp gain down by 2dB.
3&4 on together drops the subwoofers down by 2dB.
Effectively, you've dropped the entire output of the amp down and then dropped the subs even more. Not sure that's really what you're looking for. Not sure why DIP 5 muted anything. It should have no effect if the remote isn't connected or if switch 6 is off.
