As I understand. Have even seen members here with the same set up state they have CP working flawlessly however I seem to be still hitting my head against a brick wall and going around in ever decreasing circles.
To date even though I have done all the VO and FDL coding (6CP) + (6NS) required in preparation for CP I have been told by various people on this forum :-
1) BMW AG have stopped selling OEM FSC143 a few months ago
2) I cannot have non oem fsc on my head at all with I step F020-18-530 even if I were to have all the FSC's changed to none oem.
3) Connected drive store and BMW customer support don't want anything to do with it and will not sell me FSC codes or provision for CarPlay
4) MMI solutions are not compatible with my head (according to Bimmertech)
5) The alternstive of miracast using an android phone is not possible with HU_EntryNav2 NBT Evo ID6 Business Nav
6) The only option is to spend $500 which I don't have, to pay someone on the forums to "fix" this when others are getting it sorted for $70- $200
Really should it be this difficult ?
