I just used this product called ColourLock on my bolster. The Terra Dakota leather dye had worn and I thought the issue was related to dye transfer from pants, etc. I highly recommend this and can't believe how easy it was. It took 5 coats but it turned out great. I used a hair dryer to dry between coats. I haven't applied the leather protector yet (supposed to wait 24 hours). Any light variation is actual light as I took it outside. The color is consistent. These dyes are factory matched and you can order direct from ColourLock.
