I'm using a set of Griot woolies similar to the ones DannyM235 listed. I also have a brush like the one vancitymike posted.
I greatly prefer the woolies. The brush splatters everything all over the place. The small woolies are also way better at getting in between the caliper and the wheel rim, and for poking at the recesses of the caliper itself. The larger woolie with a long handle is good for cleaning the barrel. And unlike the brush, as you work it back and forth on the barrel it's not splattering you as the brush pops between the wheel spokes.
