Yeah, 5 minutes once you buy a cable, get the software, load it, learn the interface, get a token, and so on. If you have no interest in coding anything else, it's sure not just 5 minutes.

This is about 30 minutes all-in, including opening the package. There's also no footprint left in the ECU that you've done anything to the car, as the ASD module continues to answer diagnostic polls and all values remain at factory default.

Or, because plugging a harness in means you won't find yourself writing threads like these:
