Oh, and some explanation: When I log to my ConnectedDrive account with BMW Poland, some week ago - when I clicked the service which is listed as already "booked" (paid for), the "Map update", a message appeared that until October 27 due to maintenance work the server would not be available. Then the date disappeared, and it says now "under maintenance" - so I called them to ask, and they confirmed I'm entitled to free updates (both OTA and a download to an USB device), but they were very vague as to when the server would be up... So I'm furious that - having paid for it with my ConnectedDrive Services I bought with my car back in March - I still cannot use those pre-paid services. And my Dealer of course is ready to update my maps for a hefty price, which would effectively be paying BMW TWICE for the same service!
