Evening all, I am a couple weeks into owning my 2015 228i which is factory fitted with cruise control. The issue is, when I follow the instructions to set the cruise control (press the button twice) it doesn't work. A red dot appears on the speedo and a message states that cruise control is ready but the speed isn't maintained.

If I tap the speed control toggle up or down, the red dot turns green and speed is maintained.

Is this a fault? I am coming from VAG cars where one press of the button switches it on and sets the speed.

Car is under warranty so keen to resolve any issues while its covered.
