Last day
Today is the last day to purchase a car and write off the sales tax in Washington.
The new tax law that takes effect tomorrow does not allow you to use sales tax as an itemized deduction. The only state taxes that cen be itemized are income tax and property tax with a $10,000 cap.
So if you are thinking of buying a car in the next few month, you may want to buy it today.
