My job is chaos but I thrive in chaos.
I recently got passed up for a promotion, where they went external. That kinda sucked.
President made all sorts of promises to keep me from looking outside the company and that I'll be part of the SLT soon.
I'm not actively looking, but also have recruiters reaching out to me every so often. I get paid well for the job I do, and there are a lot of future opportunities in the pipeline to keep me interested in staying with the company.
So to answer the question, I'm happy but not as happy as I could be.
