Use the self serve bay so you can control where the water goes and get a better result. Obviously nothing from a car wash should ever physically touch your paint. If you need a contact wash, bring a bucket and your own wash mitt.

AMMO NYC has a great hoseless wash system that uses an aerator and “Frothe” wash solution. This works great at car washes in the winter, as you can rinse the car down, then use the Frothe + aerator and some microfibers to contact wash it and get great results without damaging your paint or freezing your hands off dipping them in a bucket.
