Although my situation is a little different I also went with budget tires for DD and normal driving trips (Interstates) on my squared wheel set. I do have summer UHP’s on the staggered set, for special occasions. I only drove the Velozza ZXV4 home from the shop (4 miles) so I can’t report on them yet. The reviews say they will provide good wet handling and quiet ride, which is what I need for DD.
