Both my M240i's work very hard for a living, as did their M235i predecessors - never found the brakes lacking on the road.
If you're not tracking the car and there's nothing apparently wrong with the brakes, then it's probably you.
Do the brakes fade, or do you just not find them confidence inspiring?
