I'm pondering the Yokos too. Thinking about buying a set. I mostly use the car for road touring with the occasional autocross expected in the future. I just finished a season of AX with the local Chapter of BMWCCA with the PSS in stock staggered sizes.

Not interested in going down to 17 so either running f225/40 r255/35, f235/40 r245/40, 235 square or f225/40 r235/40.

The reason for the indecision is clearances with the shocks as the 235 Yoko has the same tread width as 245 RE71 even though it has the same section width as a 235 RE71. The 225 Yoko tread is the same width as the 235 RE71 and the 255s are very wide compared to the 255 PSS like same section width 10.2 but 9.5 vs 8.7 for the PSS for tread width :P. Just worried about the tread not recessing away enough from the shock towers XD.
