Have you considered an OE MPPK lower intake with a drop in filter? No CEL, higher flow, better sound than stock. And a lot cheaper than other options. |

No, the upper part of the air box and intake tube are the same as stock. Its the lower intake box (that hooks up to the air channel) that is different. You can purchase just the lower air box.
According to BMWs material, the additional opening in the lower air box is supposed to help with increased air flow, back pressure, and better sound. I run it myself. |
Do you have a link for this? Was it a tough Install? And the same OEM Filter etc still used ?
