The Belgian Government must now act and launch a plan of action to protect their citizens from future floodings.
As the Netherlands are probably even more vulnerable from river floodings, a mega multi billion euro program called 'room for the river' was commissioned and finalised recently. I think it gives us much more protection. I guess we all need to be ready for extreme situations!
