I was checking the vwvortex forum and a lot of GTI guys run 245/40/17 on their 17x7.5" rim.
Now I am seriously considering to go 245/40/17.
Only thing I kinda worried about was 'IF the tire comes off the rim' but it looks like it's not really a problem.
