this credit score one-upmanship is mildly entertaining, given that the vast majority of it is basically being able to pay your bills on time every month. sure, it's very much a good thing, but it's also table stakes. doesn't make you some kind of financial whiz or FIRE wunderkind.
it's not necessarily being debt free either. i've had 800+ while having more than half a million dollars of non-house debt.
