Mark184 -- I just purchased a 2016 M235i yesterday -- flying down to get it this weekend. She has the tech package, but I'm looking to add CarPlay functionality as well.
Seems like you confirmed proper functionality with these third party Chinese brands. I don't think you linked the Amazon kit, just the tools & camera...
