On a fairly regular basis I've been told to cut out at 4 on Fridays (My normal end of day is 4:30), sometimes even earlier, but apparently that's only a super perk & only when "approved" Because we need to really make every day count to make a push for the rest of the year. Meanwhile, he comes in late on the regular & leaves early on the regular for things like "We just got a puppy."
So January to before now days don't count & no one does any work? GTFO & GFY. This guy is a tool. I won't be upset if he gets hit by a bus.
I'm planning on putting my case together to ask for a raise. Won't surprise me if he fires me for asking.
