I coded the car to recognize my updated idrive screen and it worked at first and then later on the entire screen was unresponsive and screen was just black and would not turn on. Then when i go into the bimmercode app, the entire "headunit module" is now completely gone. any help would be appreciated.

Hopefully the module just crashed while you coded it. I'm assuming you are talking about the head unit. You can hold down the power/volume button for I believe 30 seconds to reboot. If that doesn't work, try turning off and locking the car and let it set for about 5 minutes and then unlock and see if the issue clears. If not, remove your battery terminal from the battery for about 5 minutes to reset the computers.

I saw your post in another thread. Glad you got it figured it out and it was just a fuse. How did you manage to blow s fuse?

Honestly not sure. Everything went ok with the coding and it was working and then randomly the head unit just wasn't getting power so I immediately thought worst case scenario and was low key panicking honestly lol took a whole to figure out to for being such a simple fix
