In summary, this car has been an absolute joy to drive!!! The M235xi is my only vehicle. I maintain two dedicated sets of wheels: 18" BBS CH-Rs w/Michelin SS from April-Nov and 18" OEMs w/Continental Extreme M&S all season tires.

The only mods have been the BBS wheels which were purchased early on.
Dinan sport springs were installed at 95,000 miles.

It's been very reliable. The only items to go bad so far just recently happened at 102,000 miles. The Vanos solenoids became faulty and were replaced. Also, the Harmon Karden ampliflier control unit broke. This was a pricey fix. The control unit part cost me $1,145 at GetBMW Parts website.

I've being very proactive with maintenance and have completed the following services:

-oil/filter changes every 7,500 miles
-all fluids and spark plugs were replaced at 60,000 miles
-serpentine belt, tensioner and pulley, new OEM rotors and brake pads at 100,000 miles

Looking forward to another 50,000 miles at least!
That's awesome to hear. Thank you for sharing.
