The reason was based solely on terminal voltage. I am retired and only take short trips (<20 miles) to physical therapy and occasional breakfast runs and drives in the country with the top down. Been too hot for a lot of that lately. I am restricted to only short trips until I complete the course of PT, then I can take longer drives.

The last drive was to PT and then it sat for 4 days. Terminal voltage was 12.4, I prefer to keep the battery fully charged which would be 12.7. Sure it would have started, but that is just my personal preference and a way to ensure longer battery life.
